If you could have any super power, what would it be?
The power of healing.

If you could have any job, regardless of pay or schooling, what would it be?
A Globe Trekker (tour around foreign countries) until I have a family. Then I want to swim with dolphins and own a ski resort.

If you had to eat one food for the rest of your life, what would it be?
Couscous and couscous salad. I just wouldn't get sick of it.

Tell us what you thought of our scrimmage against W&L=
Emma Alkonis was the most impressive. Arianne made noteworthy saves in the goal. Emmalani did a nice job in the back- real scrappy. The team has the potential to do better. The forwards were unable to connect with the defense. Caring Captain Courtney was her normal incredible self. Tamara did the work of thousands. Melanee was like Odysseus- smart and powerful but unable to get home because she was tossed about in the sea.

Younger Cary Grant. An Italian underwear model with a defined chin. Chris Brown with a defined chin. An exotic foreign man with a defined chin.

If you could have any super power, what would it be?
I'd make people bend to my will, I want to power to control people. No, actually I want to make things come to me. I want to be Matilda aka summoning powers. I could have breakfast in bed. Or shower in bed.

If you could have any job, regardless of pay or schooling, what would it be?
Cheesecake tester or ice cream tester

If you had to eat one food for the rest of your life, what would it be?
Homemade Mac&Cheese

How did you meet Cisco?
We were playing Capture the Flag. He made fun of me.

Tell us what you thought of our scrimmage against Bridgewater=
It was a great start to the season. Tamara could feed a 3rd world country with her energy and blood, sweat and tears. She's a fighter. Melanie is Norcalicious, and a good communicator. It was a solid first game.

I would read people's minds...but usually I pick flying.

If you could have any job regardless of schooling or paycheck, what would it be?
A professional scuba diver/picture taker for National Geographic. OR a surfing instructor.

An embarrassing moment:
I have many.... I wore my soccer warm-ups backwards for a Spanish presentation and realized it during my presentation and told the whole class.

If you could eat one food for the rest of your life, what would it be?
Fruit from an island. Kashi's Heart to Heart - the organic form of Honey Nut Cheerios. And milk to go with it.


If you could go on a date with any well-known person, who would it be and why?
Edward Cullen (from Twilight)- he's mysterious and charming
Joshua Lawrence Chamberlain (Colonel in the Union army during the Civil War)- he's mysterious and charming
Batman- (not Christian Bale- but he's still ok) - he's service oriented
the Fox from Disney's RobinHood- he's service oriented, dashing and funny

Tell us how you think pre-season is going and how the team will do in the coming season:
I'm very excited because we're pretty solid and work well together. The girls are a lot of fun to be around and we've got a lot of potential.

Opening Day

Well the season is not started yet, but the preparations have started. This is the first post of the season. As the coach I'll be starting it but the players, once they arrive on campus, will be running this blog. There are a lot of positives for the upcoming season, and hopefully all of you that will follow along will enjoy the season beyond what we simply do on the field. Let us know what you would like to see on this blog, and feel free to comment about our season and experiences.
